 I don't have anything serious going at the moment. I'm moving track around on the floor of two carpet layouts waiting an inspiration to bite my kneeling butt.

The evolution of my recent project, scenic water, using acrylic paints and Mod Podge:

The above turquoise is very pretty, but does not work for my layout, which is mainly set in Northeastern US. The first above picture might work if the setting was Hawaii or the Carribean.

IMO, the water in the 2 photos immediately above is awful. The ripples/waves are terrible. 

Halleluia! IMO, last 4 above pictures are 100% better than the ones before. After the Big E, I may re-do it again to make it even better. Persistence pays when it comes to scenery. Keep re-doing it until you like it, and have fun with it. Arnold
