Trolleys, yes. (Light rail doesn't exist in 'O' unless you've figured out a method of power-trucking those German floor-toy Bombadier streetcars and aren't telling us )

I'd suggest if you're going to use those for subways, you might want to jack up the platforms a bit--the photos already illustrate how awkward it would be to board/exit a subway train from where the platforms are now nod

That's on me - I grabbed the closest train, placed on the track and took the photo... You purists, gotta love it. Actually.... this product will have Phase II coming out soon and will be elevated... Shhhh I wasn't suppose to tell anyone! eek nod
