Just received this yesterday and I already have a minor complaint. The back of the store is not lit; I looked at the picture on the website and it, too, was dark. If possible, I will add a few leds back there. But before starting that procedure, I will have to determine if there is a suitable entry point to install the lights (not too optimistic). I purchased this model, not for any unique design, but for an interesting time in my past. Back in the 70s I had recently been hired by an element of the DOD, which sent me to Offutt AFB for a 3 mo tech school. Thus, grocery shopping was appropriate, as my wife came with me. Back then we were permitted to rent an apartment. By the way, the suburb of Omaha adjacent to Offutt is Bellevue(sp?). First thing upon arrival after check in : grocery shop. First store we found was Piggly Wiggly. Was so amused with the name; a week or so later close by was a Hinky Dinky store. While amused with these names, food selection at both stores was terrific compared to what was I used to back East in the mid Atlantic area.
Back to the model issue - anyone have thoughts re the lighting on this model?
