On page 41 of the latest issue of The Lion Roars is a structure called Linda's Diner. Does anyone know who made that lovely item?

This Diner is a telephone called usually called Joe's Diner.

They show up on Ebay often.

I have 4 of these diners gotten off eBay for $25.-$35. + shipping. Full interior detailing, and plays "Rock Around the Clock" at the push of a button. They were made in the late 1990s, and retailed for $80. Best diner around, IMO.
Since Dec.8, 8 of them have been sold on eBay ranging from $22.-$55., however, none seem offered right now. Keep looking at "diner telephone" and "diner phone" under "all catagories".
We have written about these Diners in Collector's Gallery. They look great on a layout and if you can get one for $35 plus shipping, it is a very worthwhile buy.

Is there an alternative to getting power to this Piece? I've attempted connecting it to a Lionel transformer but it didn't work. I have no phone connection.
