Here is the link direct to Lionel's web site. Its a PDF and not in numerical sequence but close enough to find your items

Thank you! I found the two items I had ordered in the list, and they are both scheduled for an August delivery.
Good luck with that, the July deliveries aren't even in yet.
No listing for the Preamble Express again. Maybe next year if it has not been canceled.

Here is a thread where DGJones says Ro sent him a shipping invoice for the Preamble Express...
Anyone know if the Legacy Camelbacks from the Vol 1 catalog are still set for a September delivery? My first Legacy model.
Brad
Charles Ro website is saying December availability. Lionel still shows September.
Thanks Marty. I did see some places moved the date to October. Nice to have the heads up about December. I won't keep my hopes up. Would be nice to get it this winter.
Brad
I like to look at the Lionel Store's estimated delivery date because I feel that is what gets updated the most by the folks at Lionel. Looks like the Camelbacks were pushed back to a late October arrival.
This is very helpful but it appears to pertain only to 2021 anticipated deliveries.

Why we are at it, I heard the Pennsy Tuscan red S1's were send back to China for a paint problem. Is this true and what was the problem?

They’ve already been delivered. At dealers now.

Eric Segal has an excellent review of his on his YouTube channel ericstrains. He seemed very happy with his.

I know I'm jumping the gun a bit, but since this thread is active...
Typically when is the delivery schedule updated with items from Volume II catalogs?

Typically winter and following spring. Some come earlier, some later due to factory production schedules. Im sure lionel is going to be filling containers to the top before shipping from overseas. Container prices are thru the roof!
Just saw the Ro has changed the date for the Turbine Verandas to 3/22 -_-

As of now the Lionel Store is showing 12/17/2021. I suspect like most the chip supply is hurting delivery schedules. I won't get upset. This is clearly beyond Lionel's control.

Not upset just saying.. wanted to confirm.. have a few things I’d like to get but holding off cuz$$

I just saw this too. They must know something….

My boards can't be made right now as some of the parts have lead times into the middle of next year! The shortages are hitting everywhere!
Bummer, I was crazy enough to buy that 2-10-10-2 Valley Flyer and that big Turbine Diesel Army! Bumping the date from Nov to Dec isn't the end of the world since I just finished table construction last week. I'm 'hoping' to have something running by December. So, not the end of the world, but I sure was looking forward to seeing this massive trains in front of me! Such is life.

They always seem to be first with all that stuff
It's disappointing for me because the 2-10-10-2 is my first major purchase from Lionel ever and I'm excited to get it. But it can't be helped. I've been facing shortages on repairs parts and whatnot at work for a while now so I expected this. It's all good.
It would be cool if Lionel gave us some product teasers and released some Youtube clips of prototype engines running or something. I forget what they call those engines they make before a production run. But that would scratch my itch for a while!
Charles Ro showing 11/1/21 for the Camelbacks. Assume that will keep moving out too.
I noticed when I Google Charles Ro the Google overview page states "Temporary Closed". Is this a clitch? The website opens fine.

Per the NLOE who is doing a custom run of Camelbacks, they are on the water and heading to the states. Lionel is anticipating an end of October delivery. MrMuffins confirmed this on another thread.
Lets hope the camelbacks are not stuck off shore for a couple of weeks.
Charles Ro says March for the Asa Packer set too
Looks like the schedule itself was last updated on 6/22 (from looking at the date in the URL itself)
I wonder when Lionel will (publicly, not just to dealers) update with more recent information.

Or we could look at the most recent schedule on the Lionel site:
http://lionel-nascar.biz/lionelship/210622.pdf
The original poster linked to a PDF file that one has to assume is a snapshot of the schedule and when a new one is uploaded, it has a new file name. Better to bookmark the schedule html page itself and not the PDF:

Or you could read what I actually said in my post.
Look at that last part after the slash in the first URL you posted.... it says 210622 which works out to 2021, June, 22nd. (Exactly what I said in my previous post).
So my question stands, I wonder when Lionel will (publicly, not just to dealers) update with more recent information.
I.e. When do they plan on updating the schedule on their website (the second link you posted).

As per Lionel’s store, the sd70aces should be in mid oct, which is good news for me. B&O sd70ace!!!

I will be looking forward to seeing the Lionel display at York, a great chance for "teasers." They should have a few prototypes and the uncatalogued "Amtrak" diesel (all blue version) announcements. I do not have a 2-10-10-2 on order but I do have a DOD Army Veranda coming my way.
I see the Strasburg 2-10-0s didn't even make the list. I was figuring late 2022 anyway. I wonder if I was being too optimistic.
Pat
How accurate is Lionel's delivery schedule? I pre-ordered a few John Bull items and they are scheduled to arrive this month (Oct 2021). This is the first time I've pre-ordered Lionel items. I've pre-ordered MTH items before and I'd say my experience was that on average the items were delayed around 3 months.
I wonder if @Conrail6358 could comment on the shipping schedule and possible delays.

I'll be missing York this year but maybe I'll see some clips. Seeing what we ordered moving on the tracks would be inspiring!

I always spend time at the Lionel booth and will be get some video of what's happening there.

Saint MartyE, man of the people!
Aw now my halo is blushing.
Well my 2-10-10-2 was supposed to be a Nov '21 delivery, then I heard December. Today my LHS told me they were told Lionel isn't shipping anything until January. I'm bummed, I ordered the big Steam and that giant Army Turbine. The waiting sucks.
