Has anyone run into issues trying to get the Lionel 148 dwarf signal to operate with DPDT relays? My old 253 works just fine with my Azatrax Relay (MRAPR-5), but the new 148s I bought will not show the "Red" light when activated by my insulated track section (through the relay). I noticed that the instruction manual lists an "update" date of 8/14. Is it because they were designed to work directly off the Lionel Accessory Activation Track? I have tried this but I get "Chatter". I'd prefer to use my relay because there is no chatter with it. Anyone have a work around for this?

Sounds like the common is a different connection than the older versions. I'd swap wires around to see if that makes a difference.

Contacted Azatrax today and they sent me a wiring diagram for the "new" 148s. Much simpler than I was trying to make it. Works like a champ!
