I was looking my set over tonight and I could be wrong...but it looks like the tires on the Jeeps are starting to melt the flatcar. Only a very minor hint so I quickly separated the contact surfaces. Could just be rub marks too as the packaging on the components of this set was rather flimsy. Worth keeping an eye on.

Checked my sample and, yes, the plasticizer in the polymer of which the tires are made is starting to defuse into the gray paint on the flat which results in a mark. I repacked the car using a sheet of tissue paper under the jeeps. Thanks for the observation.

You are welcome. I am also glad I checked mine in time.
I checked mine after reading this and there were no marks and no problems. This may mean there were different batches of tires made.

..or rather one set of tires is touching with some pressure and the others are not. I noticed a problem with only one axle pair.
