Lionel Base 3 Connection to MTH TIU - Will it be possible? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Does anybody know if the Lionel Base 3 will be able to be connected to a TIU like the Cab-2 Base can which allows Legacy and TMCC engines to be run with DCS app/remote. I know you may lose some functionality on Legacy/VL engines by not using the Cab-2 remote or Cab3 app, but I would still like to be able to use JUST one remote or app????

Covered previously. Since the Base3 only has PDI ports, no serial port on it like the Legacy base, you must buy 1 PDI cable, and an LCS SER2 module, and then also the MTH 50-1032 cable to the TIU serial port.
