wont throw switch. wires all connected lights work in controller but wont throw is it possible to buy just a controller box thanks

yes the deraling works fine i think it might be a diode maybe or can i buy just a control box thanks
The controllers might be left/right specific. Does the controller match the switch?
The controller is the same for left or right. Take the four screws off the bottom and do a visual inspection. Note if the wires are tight in the connector for starters.
Here is the schematic of the controller. If you have lights, then black and yellow wires are ok...odd that the controller won't switch either direction. You can check the push buttons inside the controller with an ohmmeter. Just look for green to black, and also red to black conductivity.
