Have recently purchased several Lionel Fastrack switches. I have 19 to 14v power from Z4000. All but 4 work. Of the four that don’t work, No light comes on at the lantern. I get power to the 14v connection and to the track. I connected the control levers and none of the switches operate. Any repair suggestions? Or do I just return them for new ones. I don’t know how to change bulbs if replacements are even available. I’m a novice but willing to try.

I would return them if possible. They have a lot going on under the cover.
I'm with Rick, return them for working switches.
Non- command fast track switches? If so - I wonder how old. There was a issue with miswired switches a long time ago.
Was the jumper clip between Track Jumper and Aux in terminals removed before you add track power? If so, add it, cut paper clip works fine
They are C/C switches. I also removed the clip. I tested the wire for power at the 14v connection on the switch and there was power. I was hoping it’d be something simple to fix...who was I kidding.
I’ll try and see if switches work using track power.
Hey Bogs, I had a similar problem with some 048 CC switches. I returned one to Model Train Stuff for a full refund and free shipping. A week later I found another switch that initially worked, then didn't. MB Klein is out of stock now. So I took it apart and fixed it. There is a small piece of plastic under the cover that slides with the lantern mechanism. It became stuck and would not move. It is an easy fix but a bit finicky. In your case, you should return them. We/you should not have to tinker with an item to make it work!
