Hi folks ,
I bought some used switches and was trying to get them set up. There was no power to remote or switch lantern. After reading other posts I discovered the jumper plate was missing. So I put a wire from the Aux in to the jumper. (See photo). Still nothing. What am I missing here? If I run power from transformer to aux in that works. I was hoping to just use track power.

What is track voltage?
That's all that should be required.
Ok thanks. Good to know I’m doing it the right way in terms of jumper. It’s weird it’s doing same thing on both switches. Must be something else up. I can just operate manually for now until I get it wired and wire it from auxiliary power I guess. The pitfalls of buying used!

Many thanks to you. My switches were indeed of the variety with incorrect wiring. This explains why the jumper didn’t work. Tonight I rewired as per the instructions and I have not only power from track but my lantern and remote. Thank you so much. Incedentally, are you the Chuck who people were referring to in other posts about selling the lanterns and bulbs for these switches?

. If you need lanterns or leds, the easiest route is Henning's Trains.
Glad you got it going. It wasn't me selling lanterns or leds, but I second the Henning's suggestion. I like them and the innovative products gunrunnerjohn markets there.
