Hi All,
Here is a youtube video I made on the Lionel GG1 zinc rot problem and the current fix. I posted this to help steer people to the OGR discussions about this and Harry Henning's current fix. I remember when I was trying to get replacement parts, and there were none. I thought this is the end for that engine, and it became a paper weight. Well now that there is a fix, I want to put some help out there. Link on youtube to help locations. Anyway here it is, ENJOY.

Great video. Thanks for posting. The replacements appear to be great quality and the detail looks to be spot on. I think it's great that Henning's did this. Had they not, there'd be a lot of paperweights out there.
I have the green 5 stripe version. Anyone know if they were affected? I didn't think so but maybe someone can confirm.

A whole list of models on the product page. Yes, some 5-stripe models were affected.

Correct, cat not included. But he can be a pain, he took off with one of the small frame screws, luckily I found it when he dropped it. Also he gets into EVERYTHING! But we still love him, he is a hoot!
