You can wire the motors in series. That will make the loco run slower and the headlight brighter.

I have rewired all of my conventional Kline engines in series. Makes a HUGE difference.

Thanks RSJB18. I opened up my Alco and took some pics. I believe I’m looking for that white square board with all the wires attached? It’s on a piece foam that’s stuck to the metal thing. Should I pry the foam/board off the metal thing to be able to splice wires? Basically I’m wondering how to do this job without ruining anything so if you have any “how to” tutorial suggestions I’d love to hear them!
