I sent a few of my Lionel Legacy diesels out for repair. They were fixed but now a couple of them start in reverse. I thought there was a simple fix for this but couldn't find it on a search. If I want to create a lash up is this going to be a problem? Should I face the Locomotive the opposite direction when programing the lash up? Thanks Nick

When building a lashup, you enter which way the locomotive starts, so it’s not a problem that one, or more, locomotives is backwards.
I try to have all my non-steam locomotives start in the direction of the “F” on the cab. For any that don’t start that way it is, usually, just a matter of reversing the motor power leads. I have not done this to any Legacy locomotive, so I don’t know if there is any quick fix. Hopefully one of the guys who works on these will chime in.
I have had a similar problem with engines of mine, but not after being serviced. They just started this behavior out of the blue. If I recall correctly, after trying to reset the problem engines each time without success, I ended up removing them from all the lashups () they were members of. Don’t rememeber if I just removed the engine itself, or cleared all the lashups they were in, but once they were no longer a member of any lashups, they behaved normally. I then recreated the lashups or added them back.
Yep. Make sure they are clear from any lashup.
