Looks like a high end loco. . Nice work. One question. On the tender. Is your CN decal placed directly on the shell or is it on a separate piece to simulate a placard ?
Dave- the decal is directly on the shell. It is a decal (Black Cat). It may look like a placard in the photo because the CN logo has a thin gold border. Then I sprayed with Dullcote to seal. J

Great job John! Paint and added details look excellent. For a mid-tier engine in Lionel's portfolio, these have very nice valve gear and I think they have great kitbash potential.
