I was just checking Charles Ro (www.charlesro.com)  to see what availability dates he has for some of the new Lionel products I am awaiting, and I noted that almost all items I have pre-ordered have been backed up from his last estimates by up to three months. (i.e. formerly Sept., now Dec., etc.)

I tend to rely on Ro's dates to be the most current available, so you might want to check in with products you have ordered to see what the latest dates are for them.  Just click on the number of the item on his listing and it will take you to the page for that item with latest availability estimate posted.

I'm slightly better off than you in that the main thing I have on order (ABS passenger car set) is shown with the same shipping date (November 2015) by both Ro and Lionel's notorious shipping schedule. (OTOH, Ro gives no date for the Legacy crane and boom cars, which seems ominous).

I have decided that life's too short to fret about the shipping schedule any more. My only hope is to see product samples or other details of these items at York.

The problem with ANY of these sources is they're only as good as the accuracy of the importer who's providing them the information.   Presumably they're all getting their info from Lionel... and by that I mean someone dealing with dealer relations.

CharlieNassau has stepped up to provide the forum with info that Lionel hasn't felt was a priority for them to communicate to the consumer.  When he receives an invoice for items coming his way, he lets us know what's on the next truck to his dealership.  Very nice touch... And hopefully it's garnered him some extra business from the forum as a result.

Charlie Ro tends to work off whatever information presumably feeds Lionel's online website shipping schedule, but Lionel is much less interested in keeping their own website up to date.  So Charlie Ro does it for his website.

Unfortunately, anything that shows more than a month out is quite like the airlines telling you your flight is gonna be delayed another 15 minutes... but they tell you that 10 times, so it's almost 3 hours before the plane really takes off.  Sound familiar???

And just about this time of year, LOTS of toy train deliveries find themselves with an updated ETA of December.  That just sounds good 'cause it's still 2015.  But even at that there are no guarantees.  It seems to happen every year... and on the plus side, it does give us more time to start stashing away those pennies in our big Piggy Bank jars now rather than later.

And I believe CharlieNassau posted a list of items due to ship out of Lionel NC in the next few weeks, and those B6's were indeed listed for an earlier-than-expected ETA.  Pleasant surprise for sure.

Slugger, you need to go to the individual item (car or accessory, etc.).First, click on "O Gauge," then "Lionel logo," then the type of item. Lastly, click on the NUMBER of the specific item you are asking about in the left column and you will get a picture of the item, etc. along with estimated availability date.

There is no list of everything all in one place; you need to check on each item you are interested in one by one.

Hope this helps.

You need to click on a specific item for detailed information.  Usually underneath the item's picture, it'll say when they expect arrival at their store.

We heard reports from folks who attended the LCCA convention in Boston that an entire set of TS 15" cars was on display at the Lionel layout.  But I don't think the 2-pack w/StationSounds car has shipped to dealers yet.  ETA on Charlie Ro's site indicates 9/10/2015... which correlates to Lionel shipping them from North Carolina at the end of August.

Dang.

Its like I'm afraid to look at the shipping schedule on Lionel's website ... it's so often bad news.

Are you referring to the S2? Ro still has 9/10 and 10/10 for the two UPs. It seems that the delivery of the S2s are all over the map as there is one CP delivering in Dec, According to Ro.

Robbie,

I'm certain that Nassau Hobby listed the Ca-4 as shipping last week.  I'm also waiting and commented in that thread how glad I was to see the caboose arrive.

The Survivor Caboose is listed OCT '15.  Hopefully it'll stay that way...

Hope this helps.

You're right, Winston. Thanks.

Yes, I did order the two CP S2's. I now see that one road number is due in Sept and the other road number is due in December. I did not realize that shipping dates can be different for different road names, much less for different road numbers within the same road name.

Depends on which C-A caboose it is.  I emailed Nassau about the one they listed and they told me it got pushed back to late Sept early Oct.  The commemorative caboose got pushed back even further.
