I bought myself one of these kits, I am struggling to get started
This is my first plastic building.
How would you recommend going about doing this?
I would like the brick to look like a brick wall
The roof structure to look like concrete
and the wood of the tank and structure to look like wood
Kind of like the right side of this image.

For the brick you can paint the walls with brown primer. When dry, use white latex paint to wipe onto the walls for mortar. Wipe off the excess to your liking. Cut the paint with a little water.
For the concrete look, paint with acrylic paints in either concrete or old concrete colors.
For the tank itself, I would paint in a shade of brown that provides the weathered color you are looking for. You can then sand the paint in various spots and add chalks to remove the uniform look of the paint.

how does the chall stay on, dull coat over or is it special chalk?
