In addition to the auction finds I came across I also picked up a bucket of O gauge track and switches for $20 at an antique show.. I am now in possession of 2 Lionel O21 switches, a pair of O42 manual switches with the lever, 3 Marx switches one with the low box and 2 with the high box with lights, none of which have a manual throw, and what I think are 4 O22 switches. I am cleaning them now. I found a Lionel switch controller that has 2 switches ganged into one controller. I also got 2 5 rail tracks and 1 track that has 3 rails but have 2 half rails viewing from the side one top left and one bottom right. Most of the wires are unusual.
I am going to have questions after everything is cleaned and I get a chance to take a closer look.
Ther O42 have bayonet bulbs, one was too big and the other burned out. I found one lantern in the box, so I ordered the bulbs and extra lanterns from the auction site. I was able to do so as I was able to dope out the part numbers.
For the O21s I can find nothing, like one or two references on this site or the other one. at this point I just need the lantern as these are the only things missing and the bulbs. Does anyone have any info on this switch? Part numbers for the lantern and bulbs please. The lever turns nicely, still a bit stiff, but I expect that will resolve itself.
BTW the torpedo runs beautifully and the 154 is still in the shop. They are getting it all mechanically fixed and getting the missing parts. I am going to use the Hennings paint, and I have new decals.
Thank you
Frank
