I'll bet you will! The finish looks clean and shiny, even if it does have a chip here and there.

There are some ware on it but I wont repaint it I think it gives the shell character

I think the same way, as long as a piece isn't totally thrashed, of course.
I have the front & rear trucks & the screw for the rear truck. Also have the jewel lights & the complete set of side rods (repro) What else do you need? Take care.
that's they same boiler shell used on the 2037
and the 2037 girls train. I got a 2018 at a swap
meet for $18. it looked like someone had tried to paint her with a paint brush.
I wanted a pink loco, so I stripped her and painted it pink.
rustolium "ballet slipper" pink.

I have the jewel lights not sure what else I need I'll post more photos in a bit and will let you know.
