One of the accessories being considered for purchase by our club for its traveling layout to increase its entertainment value for visitors is the Lionel Burning Switch Tower. Is this accessory likely to entertain/interest a train show attendee?
For those who own one, what's its appeal to you; is it sturdy; and, would you recommend its purchase for use at train shows?

The burning 🔥 switch tower would be a great 👍 addition in my opinion. Flashing lights and smoke what’s not to like. It will be a real crowd pleaser
It is great. I'm not sure if different versions changed this, but mine had a sleuthe smoke unit. No wick to burn out, but gets very hot and cannot be filled hot (smoke fluid with come out like grease crackling out of a frying pan when cooking bacon [or scrapple]).
It's a hot unit for sure. I love the scale as well the operating accessories.
