I have a lionel sawmill(6-12873) and need the sawmill shed. It has disappeared??? The lionel part # is, 6102873065. It is no longer available. Would anyone out there have one available? If I can't find one I guess I will try to make one. Thanx in advance, Tom

I have the same problem, could not locate a source for the part. May your luck be better than mine!
I have built the shed roof & supports. A little different than the original. Looks very good. I used 1/4 x 3/8 balsa for uprights, trimmed to fit original post holders and glued in place. There were 8 uprights on the original. I used only six. Left out two center front ones. Looks better to me, much more open to place figures. I used 1/8 x 3/8 balsa for front & rear cross members, braced in center. For the roof I used corragated{ my wifes idea} cardboard & removed one side after wetting & peeling it off. Not quite the same corragation size. Never be noticed. Painted and glued to supports. thinking about adding some led lights. I am very pleased with the results. I will get my daughter-in-law to come and help me post some pictures in near future since I don't know yet how to do so.
Sounds good Tom, look forward to seeing your Shed and Mill. I favor Sawmills and have a model of a Frick Mill with a ramshackle shed over it. I also built and placed a Lumber Shed nearby. I had the most trouble establishing a decent looking sawdust pile behind the Mill. I need to detail the scene with slabs, boards, etc when I get time. Photo below:

Looks real good,Dewey. I too favor sawmills. I like the sawdust pile! Will get some pics posted asap. Have a good 4th. Tom
I bought one of these off eBay, the shed alone, and was surprised how small it was..
but the tools and tool bench on the side were the right size, so am using it with a
Suncoast sawmill kit, as storage for lumber for drive-in customers. If building one,
as I might for railroad shipping, or if I hadn't found this, I'd make it twice as large or larger.
