Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saw them on an auction site together with 5 engines 4 tenders and 1 tram.

Irrestisible. All the engines work BUT no operating or electrical instructions for the swing bridge or the small lift bridge. Any chance of securing some. If not able to b posted, could they be scanned and sent to me at suenjem@xtra.co.nz. Both are Lionel. Vendor did spoil me by including a gate man also

Hi Banjo

You are talking to the technically challenged - pending a daughter turning up and taking photos and posting for me the swivel bridge looking at ebay is Lionel 6-24111. I assume it lifts up ever so slightly horizontally then turns 90degrees and lowers on to supports in the river.

The little lift bridge I cant find on ebay and no number easily found. The lifting girder bridge is about 8 to 9 inches long and onshore there is a cabin beside (the lifting mechanism) with 3 power screw downs. The control box simply says Lower arrow ---- arrow Raise

Swing Bridge manual is here, found on the Lionel descriptive page for 6-24111.

I suspect you may mean this drawbridge for "small lift bridge", I think I've heard it called that before. Manual is here.
