It's a little late because it took quite a while to film, but here it is. I hope you enjoy it and find it useful.
Thanks,

Thanks, Eric, for another excellent review.
Are those sags in the blue paint or a photo artifact?

That was fun to watch! Great job ....
(My VL GG1 pulls my Polar Express train on my Christmas layout. The sparking looks great at "twilight." I really like it.)
Thank you, Eric. An epic review for an epic locomotive. You put a heap'o work into this!
Eric
Very nice review

Nice job, Eric.
Nice job but that engine really was begging to be running before the 44 minute mark! LOL!
I think you covered the many good and the few bad points (shell seam) very well.
Watched a few times already(playing in the background), will watch some more. Always like what you have to say. Great review.
Nice review. I'd love to get one, but being an O36 min railroad, the K-Line/RMT ones I have will have to do.
As for that "rev" sound, it is the sound of the electric motors. Having rode in many electric vehicles I recognized the sound not in just this GG1, but also the TMCC and PS-1 sound sets for the electrics I have and was thrilled it was included.
Eric,
Good review although I only got up to the point where you were going to run the GG1 then I had to go to work. At least I will be able to watch it tonight when I get home. Could not agree with you more about your BFMO.

Eric,
Great review of a beautiful engine! The larger size shows the beauty of Loweys design. However I'd like to see Lionel make a LioneMaster version of the GG1. Hopefully it would be sized between the Scale GG1 and the traditional size GG1. And still be able to run on a tighter radius curve. I think that one would be a winner for Lionel.
Thanks Eric. Always wanted one when I was a kid in the fifties. Good job as usual.
Thanks Eric,
Great review. Yes, the crew talk is kind of corny, but at least the tower operator sounds like he is from "North" of the Mason Dixon Line! The engineer and tower operator sound like they are using Radio Telephone Procedures, like the ones I used talking on the radio in my jeep back in my Army days.
I have the 4935, and love it, and wish I had also purchased the 4800.
Appreciate you taking the time to do the research and produce a great video review of the GG1.

One of a number of engines I'd like to see a LionMaster version of, with a J leading the list. Lionel needs to ramp up some competition for the MTH RailKing Imperial line. I'm quite certain these scale GG1s are far too large for the layouts of most folks.
Breezinup,
The J would be a great place to start too!

Great demonstration there Eric. Love the horn on this Legacy GG-1.
