Lionel ZW Transformer Circuit Breaker Replacement

Dave, unplug the ZW and remove the old breaker.  Replace it with a comparable new one from Jeff Kane at The Train Tender .

If you've been gathering all the other information, you already have the ZW "Repair & Operating" info that shows the different breakers used.  The breaker is attached in the bottom left corner.

You may want to consider adding circuit breakers to the output terminals of the post war Lionel ZW, as the one from the factory only covers the common side, and won't trip that easy. Use 7 or 8 amp breakers from Mouser Electronics and add these right after the terminals marked A B C or D. Also won't hurt to add some TVS protection as well, again very affordable from Mouser Electronics.
