I have used it before, as mentioned earlier it's nothing special and gets the job done. I've haven't seen any adverse affects on plastic parts and it is advertised as being safe for plastics. The needle tip applicator works pretty good.
I use it, but only for axles. I pull fully loaded hopper cars of anthracite coal. It's better at reducing friction then standard oil. I do not, however, use it for pick-up rollers. Not as conductive as standard oil.
