I used a lot of this once upon a time.  Sort of milky white that dried clear and I had to put it  on all sides of the opening and "pull" it across.  Sometimes it took several applications.  Now I can't find it and don't recall the name.

Any help will be appreciated.

Gallery Glass and Canopy Glue are 2 that come to mind. I’ve used both after I saw videos on how to do it. I think the Gallery Glass worked better for what I was doing as it was a bit thicker. The videos were HO windows. There isn’t a great distance in some HO windows. They make it look easy. As you get to certain O scale windows it becomes harder to cover a big area. It definitely takes some practice.

Micro Krystal Clear by Microscale. Made many a model plane window with it back in the day. Try Elmers white glue.

Hi Papa.  It's been awhile since we had any contact...since I moved to Arizona.

Elmer's? Really?  I would have never guessed.  I have a Pegasus Hobby's set that is going to be a four story, 2' x 4' college "Old Main" building and the inside walls are NOT smooth.  Inside and outside wassare both outside with different details.  Makes it bear to do anything with the interior.
