We have all lost a good friend and long time participant in our hobby. Dave was an avid O Gauge collector and scenery enthusiast also long time caretaker of the O Gauge Railroading Scenery Sourcelist.

Very, very sad to hear. We were blessed to have him among us, contributing for us in this great hobby.
Thanks for letting us know, Charlie.
The source list in the Scenery category of this forum is invaluable to many of us. We'll hope that the custodianship of this list might be passed to the OGR staff, or another willing member. It will remain a wonderful legacy for Dave's contribution to the forum/hobby, for sure, for sure.

The forum has lost a good talent and a great contributor. May the Lord embrace Dave as he enters heaven. Its a shame but only 13% of our population is over the age of 65. That's a very telling statistic for this hobby
Very heart wrenching indeed... Dave and I spent many a trains shows together... really a hard loss.
Such a super guy... God speed Dave... I will always be thinking of ya!
Dave was a good guy and friend, and was always championing me to get back involved with the hobby professionally. I'll miss him.
Thanks for posting the news, Charlie.

I did not know him, but it saddens me when I read that a fellow rr modeler has passed.

Very sorry to hear about Dave. I'm still wet behind the ears here and didn't know him. My condolences as well.
Sad news. Although I never met him in person, I always appreciated his help on the forum. The scenery sourcelist was invaluable. He will be sorely missed and condolences to his family.
