Looking for bluk talus for train table....

Looking to get something similar to Woodland Scenics medium brown Talus. I need alot of it probably 10 pounds.

Any suggestions?

Some choices:

1) Buy some "Tube Sand" at Home Depot. It has many different kinds of stone in it. Use a colander to sift out what you like.

2) Go to a pet store and look in the aquarium section. They have all kinds of stone. Buy several colors and mix them.

3) Get some fine gravel of the right size. Use an Ink/alcohol mixture to stain it in various colors. Note that artists inks are available in many colors.

4) Kitty litter.
