I just wanted to say a few things about the 783 Hudson and its brothers and sisters. My 783 was a slug when I bought it recently, but with a lot of tips I read on here and a lot of searching for diagrams, I made my 783 run better. I learned how to deburr the drive rods witch helped, move the magnets back into position, and putting extra spacers on the drive shaft to take the slop out. I would not have known how to fix these problems, but I learned it all here. For you all that have these shelf queens you would love to run get them down, research all the info you can, tear it down and make it run better. I'm no repair man by no means, but hey if I can, you can too. I also have an 8600 and a 8603, neither of mine has the wobble that I've heard talk about. Just wanted to put this out there for you all who want them to run better, get them down, fixs them up, run them like they should.
