i decided to make a list of all the items i have plus those items i wish for or most
i didn't iclude a lot of rollingstock because i'll buy randomly with that
there are actually a bunch of 2021 items on this list and most items are from 2017 and onwards
what do you think of my list ideas? ps the highlighted stuff i already have
I use a database program to inventory what I have, but have a spreadsheet with my "buy" list. To me a buy list is very important to keep me from buying items I will not use or even regret, and I keep the buy list on my phone so I can check it before any purchase. My buy list is well researched on what I need to complete my late 40s Pennsy themed layout, ensuring I do not have too many of one type of car. It is also very specific so I do not duplicate a car number I already have.
I cannot comment on your list since I do not know your goals and likes, but as long as it fits the theme you want it is good.
