Making Model Tarps?

Kleenex tissue and thinned white glue, a technique borrowed from Shep Paine.

Brown or blue(institutional, not white kitchen) paper towel material cut to shape.  Moisten with the thinned white glue(as Palallin recommended) and place(crease or fold as necessary) over the item to be tarped.  Let dry. Trim if needed with a sharp hobby knife  John in Lansing, ILL

I have used paper towels, not embossed in any way.  As stated above, wet with thinned white glue, shape, and allow to dry.  Depending upon the use/placement, use tone of paint/color you wish for the scene and surroundings.  Works very well for me.

All sound like good ideas!  I remember a while back I just used a simple plastic bag that was beige colored and some scissors and tape.

These really look great!  Awesome loads without expense would be nice.  Do they hold up well over time,  cracking flaking fragility?
