Very good Dave. Also enjoyed your recent articles.

David,
Thank you for taking the time to post such an informative video of the "Wind-up World
of Toy Trains".
I am much in awe of the mechanical technology that went into the manufacture.
Again, you took your time to give us a look back into "the way it was back then" !!
Enjoyed the video, thanks for posting
Nice job, David. Thank you. I have the Hafner engine as well, so was interested.
Dave, are you referring to the Piqua Products plant in Piqua, Ohio? Many of the Hafner/Wyandotte toys ads from 1953 still show the Wyandotte address for contact information but stated the products were shipped FOB from Piqua. The book you are referring to lists the WR970 and the matching 3689 tender as being produced beginning in 1953. The earlier pre-war 1010 and M10000s were built at 1010 Kolmar Street in Chicago. The 2000 and 115041 engines were added shortly after WWII but the Chicago factory was phased out in 1951.
Dave,
Thank you for posting the video, very nicely done.
