I really like the Menard’s O scale water tower however they sold out before Christmas and are currently selling at double the price on Ebay. I got the HO scale version but want the O version as well. One of the best items Menard’s has made in my opinion! If anyone from Menard’s is reading, please bring it back!

I think it would be wonderful if they would rerun their "O" gauge water tower. Their buildings and accessories seem to be a big hit with the folks on this forum.

These water towers are said to have great detail but are oversized. If the O version does not come back, how does the HO version look next to O trains?

Very interesting that you bring that up! The HO version is actually large enough that the spout drops at the perfect height of my MTH H10’s tender. Having said that, I still want the larger one just from a collectibility standpoint.
The HO version is bigger than the O gauge Plasticville tower
The HO version does look plausible from a height standpoint, but if it was real it would likely only hold enough water to fill 1 tender!
