Here we go with another fantastic building from Menards. A VERY well detailed building with laser inscribed sign. A lot of Menards trucks from the past will look great with this new building. Now,,, what's all of that constuction equipment up too ????

Bob, I'm going to have to check that building out. I may have to find a place for it on my under construction layout!
Mine is coming. Hope it does not take too long.
Your pictures convinced me! Thinking of hooking it up with the Vetter's bldg. on the new layout! I envy you that Ford pickup with the yellow stripe parked in front. My birthday is the 16th!!! LOL
Wow this is officially my favorite Menard's Building. Love it!
I can't get Neil Youngs Cripple Creek Ferry out of head because of this.
Im even signing my own twist on it 🎵 Cripple Creek LUMBER " CUTTING DOWN the overhanging trees"; Make way for the Cripple Creek LUMBER, the BUILDING'S going down (THOUGH) it's mighty tight squeeze"🎵 (a favorite anyhow, but it's stuck on "repeat" now )
Hmmm, I was thinking of The Band’s Up on Cripple Creek
Up on Cripple Creek, she sends me
If I spring a leak, she mends me
I don't have to speak, she defends me
If I go to Ohio this fall, I will have one delivered to the Chillicothe store as I pass about a mile from it on US-35.
Where's Jack the German Shepherd???

I saw him on the Menards Website photographs, Don!
Thanks Mark! I didn't want him to show up at the animal rescue center my son volunteers at!
I'm almost afraid to ask. What is the footprint of that puppy?
Looks like a 12x12" give er take an inch or two.
Yes Bob, I'm concerned about that too. I have only so much town real estate available, but I think I know where I can squeeze it in. Thank you, John!
Good for you Mark, can’t wait to see your installation. I’ll have to wait for urban renewal.

Jack is between the pile of 8 beams and the green pickup with yellow load.
I ordered mine on July 4th and received it this morning, July 9th. Nice.
Smaller foot print. Walters O-scale, Walton and Sons Lumber, which eventually was re-molded/released by Atlas Models. ?? I think ?? Kit, assembly and painting required. Some of these models became Built-ups/already assembled, not sure about this kit. Foggy head thinks, there may have also been a fence??

Thanks for pointing this out, Mike. I thought I remembered that Atlas had done this. Reissued by Atlas from a Walther's version as Jack's Lumber. $65 (including the separate office building). Snap-together construction, and already molded in colors. Shed is 13 1/4 x 6 1/2 = 86 sq. inches.
Good to find this. As I mentioned last week in the original thread on the Menard's lumber yard, 144 sq. inches is too large for the space I have available. This Atlas version, which takes up 40% less space, should work fine.
