I was trying to find some information on the Menards Garden Center and was not able to find much. I currently have this piece for sale on ebay. When was this made and was it a popular item? It is a pretty cool piece with rotating figures in the store and nice lights. This Garden Center was included with a large collection I purchased from a prior Lionel employee. He built over 100 of his own buildings which I purchased. He had 3 Menards buildings the Power & Light Factory, Garden Center and Hudson Garage which are for sale on ebay. The story about this former Lionel is on Notch 6 titled "The Neighbor Next Door"
