Here it is guys, all powered up and in business. Another great building from our friends at Menards. This operating accessory has all the action you want, and take a look at the back of the building, there are three openings to put the accessories you want to use here.

Finally a pic of the back side, That would be good to have the trains pull up on that side and trucks on the side with the forklift. Would have to turn it 90 degrees basically thou.

Do you know the size of the foot print?
Cool!
I think the building is very nice.
Wonderful pictures Dad! Great looking building from Menard's! I would have to say they hit it out of the park with this one!
Now I know why Menards also sells building materials! The need to add on to the house to accommodate all these nice buildings!
;-)
Do you have any more orange

Thanks Bob. Now I need to see if I can squeeze it in somewhere--great building.
Like the building but the forklift operation should be made to pause for a couple of seconds after it exists the building. The "see saw action" will look more realistic this way. Good first attempt at an operating accessory though.
Thanks for the pics Bob. Menard's really did a great job on this one. The back looks as good or maybe even better than the front. Menard's should have you do the photo work for their train advertising.
Neat video and a terrific commercial building for the layout. Quite a few years ago Lionel had a similar operating fork lift / building where the forklift moved in and out of the pipe supplier building.
Got mine two days ago and wired it up yesterday. Yes, agree with all the comments above. Props to Menards, another good-looking product. It is nicely done, and would be more realistic if the fork lift action was random/more spaced out and the action moved closer to the edge of the loading dock.
I'm sure one of our smart electrical forum members will figure out a way to use a Lionel 153IR, MTH ITAD, or Z-Stuff DZ-1075 to activate the fork lift when a train stops at the building.
BTW, can't find an On/Off switch like the American Power and Light building has. Did I miss something?
So, a couple of months in...
Have those of you who have purchased the building done modifications to the forklift movement that you can share here on the forum? Maybe even a video?
Here is the other thread on the structure from last year, one of Cabinet Bob's "Upcoming Release" https://ogrforum.com/...rom-menards-3?page=1
Moderators, I am using one of Cabinet Bob's own photos from above here in my post:
I haven't bought one yet, but am seriously considering it.
