Am I being an idiot? Is there an on/off switch somewhere that I am not seeing? I cannot get this thing to smoke at all! Yes, I put water in it, not smoke fluid. Has anyone else had this issue?

It took time for the one I tried to get it to smoke. This is because they use a wick material to get the water up to the ultrasonic disk..
There is no switch for on off.
Again, on first time usage, ours took several minutes before the water wicked up to the actual disk . Also, use distilled water. tap water may eventually clog the tiny orifices.
It's basically the same popular 5V unit as available in kit form.

Resolved. It was defective. Went back and got another one and it smoked almost immediately!
