While looking at some Mid-Century Modern home sales material, I saw what looks like an American Flyer train set on the floor of this thoroughly modern home. No unsightly third rail, that's so early 20th century. We've moved on from that.

Yes, it's badly cropped.

It's cropped perfectly for illustrating the kitchen/breakfast nook.
The train is an afterthought. Probably a low end Atlantic or "Casey Jones" set.

If I had to guess, I'd say the engine is probably either a #21106 or #21160...

Hindsight is 20/20. I should have originally posted that these sales flyers were from 1954-1959.
...so it's likely a #21100...(?)
