I looked to see if anyone had asked this question before, so apologies if I missed it. Does anyone have any experience with Micro-Mark's miniature vacuum kit, #81064? I am currently using a variety of brushes, compressed air, and vacuums to clean things on my layout, but they don't work so well on buildings and scenery. I'm putting together an order to MM for other needful things and this looks like something that could be handy. But I am leery of buying a pig in a poke. Thoughts?

Thanks,

Jim

I just checked the Micro-Mark page for this item.  For $9.95, it's a good deal and worth having around.

I have basically the same thing, which can be purchased at hardware stores, home improvement stores, Walmart's, etc.  For usually $12.99 and more.

They are nothing more than miniature attachments that can be hooked up to your shop vac, and allow you to get into small, tight spaces where the normal shop vac attachments are too big for.  Perfect for use on the layout, as you can work in and around a lot of small details with a lot less worries about sucking the details right off the layout like you probably would with full-sized attachments.  The quality of the attachments is pretty good too, in my opinion.

Handy accessory to have around.  I'd recommend it.
