model master acrylics paint question

i have started running out of my polly scale paint and have seen several recommendations for model master paint. i’ve tried a couple, grimy black flat, and engine black flat, but both have a satin sheen to them definitely not flat like polly scale. have others experienced this or am i crazy?

I have several model master colors. The sheen of the paint can vary from color to color.
