I really liked PolyScale water-based acrylic paints, but alas, the last of them are now gone.  I can't stand the smell of solvent-based paints.  My local hobby shop still has ModelMaster acrylics in a wide variety of military colors, so I wonder if anyone has an opinion as to what the equivalent of Pullman Green would be?  There are about six shades of olive drab available, and I can't tell from the paint chips which is closest.  Thanks for whatever insight/experience you can share.

Bruce,

I just painted this Weaver Pullman-Bradley coach in Model Flex SAL Pullman Green:

Placed beside a car painted with Floquil Pullman Green the SAL Pullman green has a brown tint to it, but looks dead on from a SAL point of view.

Here's a K-Line car painted using the Floquil Pullman green:

It's hard to tell the difference in these photos, but eyeballing it I can see it.

I used the Model Flex straight from the bottle, no thinning/mixing.  Best paint job I've done in a while I think BUT...you have to use fairly new paint.  I wouldn't use any Model Flex if has been opened for more than 1 year.  I had an old bottle and one my first attempt I had to strip it off again because it puddled up.  I bought 3 new bottles and the result was fine.  Still have 2 unopened bottles, think I got them from Walthers.
