Modifying the Lionel 6-19300 PRR ore car
This Lionel model is a traditional size all plastic very light weight PRR ore car. The car includes non-sprung plastic trucks. Other than a brakewheel on one end there are no brakegear details. The plastic trucks are mounted using rivets.
To improve this model brakegear and sprung metal trucks were added. This results in a lower center of gravity which improves rolling characteristics.
