Nor sure what modules you have, or what type of abuse but here goes....
Hot glue on the corners of a circuit board will work. Most electronic, and some hardware stores carry "stand offs". They are snap in, or threaded hex. legs, of different lengths between 1/8"-2". A small threaded male on one end, female on the other end, stackable to layer boards. Metal and plastic standoffs are made.
If your mounting on metal, protect component legs tips with a sheet of cardboard cardstock behind the board is a good idea. An electronics shop can supply thin anti puncture, high heat, non-conductive plastic sheets to do the same job.
