MTH 261 from 269E Won't Run

There should be one screw inside the stack, 2 on the frame on either side of the trailing truck securing a bracket and the body.  See page 37 of the instruction manual: 261 Manual.  Once open, inspect the e-unit for proper rotation when the pawl is raised and that all wiring is intact.
