Did MTH add Kadee Compatible coupler pockets to their model of a 3 bay 4650 cubic foot capacity covered grain hopper when these cars were released in 2004,or did Kadee coupler pads come later on? These cars are hard to find and there doesn't seem to be a lot going on with them. I know more modern grain hoppers like the Atlas 5161 are in more demand, but I still see a lot of these hoppers running on about any railroad.I'm usually wrong, but believe these hoppers along with the 4600&4750 cubic foot hoppers, are still very important grain haulers,as well as other commodities, for the railroads.
Thanks to everyone in advance for any help they can offer.
As always,
Al Hummel
