MTH 50-1028 DCS Commander

Hopefully this is a simple question. I am planning on running Lionchief and MTH Subway Proto 3 series together on the same track. Since the DCS Commander supplies DC power to the track, will this be sufficient for the LC's, meaning the bricks that come with LC sets would not be needed anymore? Also would I be able to run both at once?

Yes, I think the voltage on the track will be 16V DC but that is still sufficient to run a LC and PS-3 engine together. G
