Is this the correct #50-1032 cable to connect the TIU with the SER2/Legacy base for TMCC & Legacy (limited) support? While one end is marked LEGACY/TMCC and the other TIU, there is no part # AND the in-line box looks completely different than the #50-1032 cable for sale at my LHS. Thanks!

Yes, it is identical to the one I am using which came in a plastic bag with a blue-purple cardboard stapled to the top marked "TIU/TMCC-Legacy 6' Connector Cable"
The older #50-1018 cable had an inline box (presumably holding electronics) while the -1032 has a more rounded, ribbed structure.
Thanks Bruce. Odd then that all the MTH packaged cables labeled 50-1032 at my LHS all have the square box.
These are the original packaging labels for the 50-1032 and 50-1018 cables:
This is the "box" on the older #50-1018 cable:
That all said, I do see in MTH advertising they show the above box style in their #50-1032 sales ads. So possibly they have changed the style back to the 1018 box over the years. I would then trust that the "TMCC/Legacy" label appears around the cable to denote the 1032 version especially if you are buying from a reputable seller.

The cables are different depending on if you are connecting to a TMCC base or a Legacy Base or Cab1-L base
50-1018 - for TMCC Base only
50-1007 - Legacy or Cab1-L base only
50-1032 - Legacy or Cab1-L or TMCC (this latest one covers them all)
You can see my unopened 50-1032 has the rectangular box.

Where can I get this cable or can I use a 9 pin off Amazon? I have a cable from my 990 box, comes off the base and has two leads, one male, one female. The one I could put to the TIU did not work.
Western Depot has them in stock: https://westerndepot.com/produ...hp/products_id/22755
