Hi. I want to add some 4.5v Miller signs to my AIU, to turn on and off. The rest of my AIU accessories are 14v. Will this work OK? Can you mix different voltage accessories in on AIU?
I assume the AIU just closes the ground.

The AIU switches are all isolated.
I do it all the time on my 2 AIUs for my accessories. I bunch them into 4 catagories with the accessories in each category liking the same voltage.
I run a '+' wire to the 'first' AIU port and then daisy chain to the other ports that are in that same category. Repeat for the other 3 categories.
I don't know what "I assume the AIU just closes the ground' means. I don't run a ground thru the AIU.

Walt: you are using the relays in the AIU to make Hot. The OP is using the relays to make common. Either way works just fine.

I have never had a problem running different accessories or switches that draw different voltage thru the AIU, actually I never even thought about it.
I had them all running off of one of my ZW transformers and everything worked
just fine. If I did need more power for any reason, I simply raised the handle of the ZW, and supplied more power.
