MTH DCS after 2 year absence. | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I ran my 10' x 22' MTH DCS layout the winter of 2010-11 (a dozen locos, 1 TIU, and 2 remotes).

Spring 2011 I packed up everything due to impending surgery - my wife needed BOTH knees replaced!

Now (fall 2013) 20 months later I set up a 25' test track with DCS and 2 locos. EVERYTHING WORKED FINE!

Both remotes controlled all features of the locos - didn't even have to replace or recharge any batteries.

Kudos to MTH DCS system and locos (premier 0-6-0 switcher and S-2 switcher) - definitely QUALITY merchandise.

I'll be lubricating the locos and checking out the smoke units early in 2014. ENJOY.
