Any one have this model specifically the PS3 run? I'm thinking of getting one eventually (the liberty liner but the electro liner applies too) and would be curious to hear about it. Are the tethers between the train as bad as the turbo train? (If so, I'll skip entirely, the turbo was a piece of junk). Any videos would be nice. Also, is the lighting the correct color for the train? I know in the subways the lights are not the correct color.

Matt, I have the PS3 Electroliner and it's a beautiful train. I will say the tethers are a bit of a pain to get connected, however with practice it's not that bad. I put two trains together on their sides on a soft surface so it's really easy that way I only have to connect one tether on the track. It will make O36 curves too, even with the box saying O42. the lighting seems correct for me.
Below is a night shot of my CTA and Electroliner.

Nice stuff Matt! Looks great at night! Happy to hear it does 036.
Owning both the Electroliner and the Liberty Liner, I echo the above. The tethers are a bit of a pain to hook up, but run smoothly once you do!

Makes me feel better. The tether comment stems from the turbo train. As I said above, that was horrible so I'm glad to hear the tethers on this are better.
The problem is they give you zero slack to work with. It comes as 4 units let's just say A, B, C, and D. If you turn A and B on its side on a cushion or padded surface hook them up and put them on the track, then do the same for C and D, you only have to worry about connecting B and C on the track.
One other cool thing about the Northshore Electroliner is that the Illinois Railway Museum has one and I have been able to ride it a few times.
